Eligibility Criteria
For Queen’s student:
• A minimum CGPA of 2.60 or higher
• Successful completion of one year in a full-time undergraduate degree program
For full-time undergraduate student or have completed university:
• Successful completion of at least one year in a full-time undergraduate degree program with a minimum CGPA of 2.60, or
• Successful completion of a degree program at a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.60
• A Letter of Permission, if you want to credit Certificate courses toward your home degree
For a full-time college student or have completed college:
• Successful completion of a two-year diploma or two years of a three-year full-time advanced diploma program with a minimum CGPA of 2.90
• A Letter of Permission, if you want to credit Certificate courses toward your home degree or diploma
You will be requested to provide proof (official transcript) during the application process of your completion from university or college.
Note that colleges vary in terms of their diploma and degree offerings; if you have questions about whether your college accreditation will be sufficient for Certificate admission.
To be eligible to apply as an Interest Student, applicants must be over 21 years of age in the calendar year of admission. Please note that the Interest category is not intended as a pathway for students who wish to apply to on-campus studies and are unable to enroll in courses outside the Faculty of Law.
Note- The Certificate in Law is an undergraduate program and is not designed for graduate degree credit.
