About the NLIU:
The National Law
Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU), was established by the Rashtriya Vidhi
Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, by an Act No. 41 of 1997 enacted by the
Madhya Pradesh State Legislature. NLIU is recognized by the UGC and the Bar
Council of India. NLIU has been designing and delivering courses with a view to
enhance the ability and capacity of the students, members of the faculty and
other participants in avoiding and resolving problems under the framework of
law.
About
the Seminar:
Sport has changed its
identity from a leisure activity to a profession in the contemporary world. It
is being pursued as a career and many successful events, series and brands are
created in the sports world. There are tremendous commercial opportunity in the
world of sports which also provides employment to many. Accordingly, there is a
need for involvement of exclusive law to govern its multiple dimensions keeping
in mind the peculiarity of interests of all stakeholders. The Centre for Sports
Law, Policy & Research through the “National E-Seminar on Issues and
Challenges in Laws relating to Sports in India” proposes to provide a common
platform for legal experts, academicians, researchers, and students to bring
out, discuss and deliberate on contemporary issues in the law relating to sports
and possible solutions for the resolutions of the same.

Date for Submission of Abstract: 29 August 2020

Submission Guidelines:
For Abstract:
Abstract shall be
maximum of 400 words including keywords.
There shall be a
maximum of two authors for each paper.
Multiple entries shall
lead to disqualification.
The abstract should be mailed
at cslpr.jlusol@gmail.com
with the Cover Page including :
- Title of the Paper
- Name of the Author and Co-author (if any)
- Designation
- University/College/Institution
- Contact details of Author and Co-author (if any)
Subject of the
mail must be “Abstract Submission”
with the Name of Author and Co-author (if any).
For Manuscript:
The title of manuscripts shall be followed by Name of the student(s), Name of the University/
Institution and E-mail address.
The manuscript should
be submitted in MS-Word (.doc/.docx) format only.
For citation, Bluebook
style – 20th Edition shall be followed.
While submitting manuscript
the subject of the mail must be “Manuscript Submission” with the Name of Author
and Co-author (if any)
The MS-word file of the
manuscript must be named in the manner which is as follows: Name of the Author
and Co-author (if any) followed by the title of the work. Example “Rajesh Sinha - The interface of IPR and Sports law”
The maximum word limit
for the paper is 4000 words excluding footnotes
