About the Journal:

The Georgia State University Law Review is a legal journal published four times a year by second- and third-year Georgia State University law students who have demonstrated outstanding writing and academic skills. The staff of the Law Review edits and publishes articles written by scholars, practitioners, and students.


About the Symposium:

GSU invites legal scholars to submit articles for the Annual Symposium Issue, which will be published alongside a remote symposium in March 2021The remote symposium will feature four panels (each an hour in length and held on separate days) focusing on solutions to dismantle the systemic racism in the use of police force, housing, education, and voting. Authors are invited to submit pieces on related topics.

Submissions:

Legal Articles with word limit: 7500 to 10000 words

Interested candidates can email a short abstract to SymposiumEditor@gsu.edu, including the approximate length of the piece for the Special Issue. If your article is selected, you are not required to participate in the Symposium, but you may join as a speaker on a panel if you wish to. 


The deadlines are as follows:

●     Abstract Submissions: January 1, 2021

●     Final Article Submission: February 1, 2021

●     Tentative Publication Date: May 2021
