Arnab Goswami moved a regular bail application on Monday before the Sessions Court, Alibaug seeking his release from the judicial custody for being accused of the 2018 case of abetment to suicide of Anvay Malik.

Goswami has also filed an interim bail application in the Bombay High Court along with his Habeas Corpus plea challenging his arrest on the morning of November 4, which was refused to be granted by the bench of Justice S.S.Shinde and M.S.Karnik mentioning that there is no impediment for him in filing the regular bail application before the Sessions court. The High Court after the full-day hearing reserved the order without any immediate relief on the same and which is to be announced by the Court today at 3 pm.[Read High Court Notification]

In view of such permission, Goswami has now filed the application before the Alibaug Sessions Court.
