About the Competition
Essays are an integral
part of learning and expressing the thought process in an analytical way.
Essays on legal issues enable a researcher to indulge in detailed reading on a
subject matter, think through the narratives of distinguished scholars on the
subject line, and sort information, and various ideas to analyze and produce a
critical analysis. Essay writing is one of the core skills that shape legal
writing, enriches research aptitude, compels a person to think and articulate
within a stipulated word limit, and evolves a thought process of a
researcher.
Developing this skill enhances an ability to coherently structure the arguments, channel information, and present it in a lucid manner to the readers. This Essay Competition is an initiative to promote legal writing amongst law students and enable them to think critically and express with cogent reasoning while maintaining the stipulated economy of the words.
