Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU), Dehradun was established in 2011 under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 set up under the aegis of Graphic Era Educational Society, Dehradun. Today GEHU is widely known for its innovative and rigorous education which has nurtured professionals across industries and sectors in India and beyond.

The School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) has been home not only to legal education but also played a pivotal role in making conversation on the rule of law as well as law and justice. With students admitted from all over the country and faculty drawn from the renowned academic institutions of the country, GEHU is counted among the top law schools in Northern India.
About the FDP
The five-day faculty development program (FDP) on emerging contours of legal education and teaching techniques, organized by the School of Law, GEHU, is intended to boost the teaching, learning, and research skills of researchers and academicians who are actively engaged with the legal field. The program aims to provide an opportunity for the participants to learn and gather knowledge on contemporary issues and developments happening in various areas of law globally.
It has been considered a stand-alone pedagogy is fostering knowledge and professional skills. The program consists of interactive sessions with esteemed resource persons having expertise in their respective areas of specialization designed to enhance the skills of young researchers and academicians. The goal of this FDP is to make the academicians friendly with the emerging developments in the teaching techniques of legal education and motivate them to utilize their knowledge appropriately in the development of future scholars.
