Delhi High Court seeks Twitter's response on a lawsuit filed by Abhijit Iyer Mitra over 'inaccessible' account (NOV 1, 2022)

The Delhi High Court on November 1 sought Twitter's response on a lawsuit filed by Abhijit Iyer Mitra, seeking restoration of his account on the website that has been "unilaterally banned" and made inaccessible to his followers.

In his plea, Mr. Iyer said following his tweet in relation to the bail granted by the Supreme Court to Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair in a criminal case, Twitter "unilaterally" banned his account, thereby making it "completely inaccessible" for him to engage with his 1.5 lakh followers on the platform.

INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT 

The income Tax department raids Kapoor Watch Company, a retailer of Rolex, Cartier, and Tag Heuer brands (NOV 1, 2022)

Income Tax Department (ITD) is conducting searches at 55-year-old Kapoor Watch Company. Recently Film Star Ranveer Kapoor unveiled the first India limited-edition Franck Muller variants in a gala event organized by Kapoor Watch Company. 

Kapoor Watch Company is part of a worldwide network of official Rolex retailers allowed to sell and maintain Rolex watches. Kapoor Watch Co is also the Indian retailer of Audemars Piguet, Bvlgari, Cartier, Omega, and Tag Heuer brands. According to sources, all the showrooms and premises of Promotors are covered in this search.
