Disclosures and compliance requirements for Issuance and Listing of Municipal Debt Securities under SEBI (Issue and Listing of Municipal Debt Securities) Regulations, 2015, which fall within the definition of “green debt security” (NOV 24, 2022)

SEBI has received representations from market participants on the compliances an issuer under the ILMDS Regulations would have to undertake in case it is desirous of issuing a green debt security, in the absence of similar provisions in the ILMDS Regulations. 

Accordingly, an issuer under the ILMDS Regulations may issue a green debt security if it falls within the definition of “green debt security”, as per Regulation 2(1)(q) of the NCS Regulations. 

Such issuer, shall, in addition to the requirements prescribed under the ILMDS Regulations and circulars issued thereunder, comply with the provisions for ‘green debt security’, as specified under the NCS Regulations and circulars issued thereunder.

Inclusion of Goods and Service Tax Network (GSTN) as a Financial Information Provider under Account Aggregator Framework  (NOV 24, 2022)

With a view to facilitate cash flow-based lending to MSMEs, it has been decided to include Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) as a Financial Information Provider (FIP) under the Account Aggregator (AA) framework. 

Department of Revenue shall be the regulator of GSTN for this specific purpose and Goods and Services Tax (GST) Returns, viz. Form GSTR-1 and Form GSTR-3B, shall be the Financial Information.

Tata Consumer to acquire Bisleri for around Rs 7,000 crore: Report (NOV 24, 2022)

Ramesh Chauhan is divesting Bisleri International to Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL) for an estimated Rs 6,000-7,000 crore, The Economic Times reported.  The current management will continue for two years as part of the deal.

Bisleri is said to have had several suitors at different times, including Reliance Retail, Nestle and Danone.
