MoD organises interaction with Indian defence industry on reservation for Ex-Agniveers in corporate jobs (DEC 1, 2022)
An interaction session was organised by Ministry of Defence on November 30, 2022 with the Indian Defence Industry under the aegis of Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers to seek opportunities for gainful employment of Ex-Agniveers under the Corporate Recruitment Plan of the companies. The session was chaired by Defence Secretary Shri Giridhar Aramane. Senior executives from major Indian defence industry houses including L&T, Adani Defence Ltd, Tata Advanced System Ltd, Ashok Leyland and others participated in the discussion.

Delhi High Court declares ITC Maurya's 'Bukhara' a well-known trademark (DEC 1, 2022)
The Delhi High Court has declared ITC Limited's 'Bukhara' as a well-known trademark under Section 2(zg) read with Section 11(2) of the Trade Marks Act and also directed the Registrar of Trademarks to add the same to the list of well-known marks following the completion of required formalities.
ITC had filed a case against a Gurgaon restaurant claiming that the usage of the mark 'Balk Bukhara' is an infringement of its trademark. Additionally, ITC sought a declaration of its mark 'Bukhara' as a well-known mark.

Essar to invest Rs 57,000 cr in Odisha: Petrochem plant, iron ore pellets unit among projects planned (DEC 1, 2022)
“The idea is to build iron ore pellets for exports. And these will have specifications required for green steel internationally,” Prashant Ruia, director, Essar Capital, told FE on the sidelines of the Make in Odisha Conclave ’22.
The second project the company will be developing in the state will involve investments of nearly Rs 45,000 crore to develop a crude-to-chemicals plant along with an international partner.
