The CourtRoom- Law Society of Centre for Legal Studies of Gitarattan International Business Studies (GiBS), New Delhi is organizing 5th National Moot Court Competition on 20th and 21st May 2023 in offline mode.

About GIBS

Gitarattan International Business School was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of Rohini Educational Society. The society is proudly running various other successful Institutions in Delhi like Gitarattan Institute of Advanced studies & Training, Gitarattan Jindal Public School & The Sovereign School.

About 5th National Moot Court Competition

National Moot Court Competition is an annual national-level competition organized by the Courtroom – The Law Society, Centre for Legal Studies, Gitarattan International Business School. It brings together students from different law schools of the country to compete in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment. It aims at giving exposure to law students on important issues arising in contemporary socio-economic and legal environments.
The Competition shall be held on 20th and 21st May 2023 in offline mode.

Eligibility

a. Students pursuing their full-time 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB program (1 team per program per institute) from a university or Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India, are eligible to apply

b. Subject to the provisions of this Chapter, the Organizing Committee shall accept the registration on first come first serve basis.

Team Composition
Each team shall consist only of three members, comprising two Mooters and one Researcher.
Any alteration/change in the names of the team members shall be intimated in writing by the Dean/ Director/ Head of the Department of the School/ Department /College of Law, of the team requesting such alteration/change positively to the Organizing Committee. However, any such alteration is permitted only once.
Once the competition commences, the team composition cannot be altered under any circumstances. The inability of any team member to participate shall lead to disqualification of the team from the competition and their registration fee will not be refunded.
