Abhinav K Mishra is currently AI policy fellow at CAI DP Washington and Doctoral Fellow in Artificial Intelligence and Law from United Nations mandated University for Peace, Costa Rica. He is an enthusiast professor and advocate of IP, Media and Cyber Laws.
He is also the Partner of LexPlex- Legal Tech Consultancy, Head- Research and Innovation Division, MyLawman.
He is Adjunct Professor, (IP and Media Laws) Lloyd Law College and Guest lecturer at Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He has been Research Fellow, IIP Tokyo on a project of Japan Patent Office to work on Blockchain Receipts and IP Law (kind of present day NFT), Fellow for First Hainan international Film Festival, China and Ex-Professor at Sharda University and Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida.
He is avid researcher and speaker & has been resource persons to many programs including FDPs, Conferences, Expert talks at IIT, Jodhpur, NMIMS, University of Lapland, IPEM Law Academy, Lloyd Law College, and Manav Rachna University etc. He researches on New Technologies, IP law, Digital IP, Digital Human Rights and Academia.
He is the member of International Sociological Society, Indian Society of International Law, Society of Legal Scholars, London and GAJE. He has received fundings for GAJE scholarship for conference and Asian Law Institute’s Annual Conference.
He has completed his LLB (Hons.) from prestigious Banaras Hindu University and LLM. from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi (A research-based law university under the aegis of Supreme Court of India). He obtained his LLM specialization in IP Laws and Human Rights and did his dissertation on Human Rights in Critical Information Infrastructure Protection. His research areas are Digital IP Law and Cyber Law and Forensics, Human Rights and Technology, Jurisprudence and Legal Theory in Context, Legal Aid and Access to Justice.
